The Annual Meeting in April saw a new committee and president elected at East Markham WI, following the retirement of President Jean and a number of committee members. Tributes were paid and gifts presented to those retiring, with special tributes and thanks to Jean, who had been president for 20 years. The second meeting of the 2019-20 session is on Tuesday 18th June, at 7.15pm in the Village Hall, when Sam Glasswell from Bassetlaw Museum will talk on Women’s Rights and Suffragettes.
