The New Year at The Hub

by | 26 December 2018 | Community facility, Community Focus, Hobbies, Retford

After enjoying the New Year sale in the shop with up to 50% off, start the new year with a resolution to try something different and learn a new skill! At the Hub there is an exciting new programme of activities for all abilities. Let the Hub’s experienced teachers guide you on an exciting voyage of discovery.

There is still time to enjoy Shaun Clark’s pottery exhibition in the gallery, which runs until 19th January, after which the gallery will play host to the Rotary Young Artist Competition. Last year there were 120 entries and, with a prize of £500 of art materials for the top school entry they hope for many participants. The closing date for entries from schools or individuals is 18th January, entry forms are available from the Hub, with the exhibition opening on 26th January and running through half term.

After another successful Pilgrim Illuminate Festival in November, visit the Mayflower Museum at the Hub to discover what it’s all about. Ideal for the school holidays, let the children dress up in Pilgrim costume and explore the RAT trail.
