Voglia d’Italia (the Italian Society for South Yorks and North Notts) presents ‘Copying the Classical: Garden Buildings in the Greek and Roman Taste’ at their next meeting. David Winpenny, writer and accredited lecturer for the Arts Society, traces the influence of architects James ‘Athenian’ Stuart, Andrea Palladio and their followers on the gardens of Britain and abroad.
