Weather permitting, the Snow Drop Walk in Corringham will be held on Sunday 16th February at 2.00pm by kind permission of the Laming Family. Attendees should assemble at Wood House Farm, DN21 3HG, where there is ample car parking. It is advised to attend well togged for the event.
The charge is £6.00, which includes a guided perambulation into the ruins of Somerby Hall, which, hopefully, will be carpeted in snowdrops and aconites, with refreshments to follow. There will also be a raffle.
For those interested, a greeting card showing a watercolour of the former Somerby Hall, painted by artist Toni Stefaniuk, will be available at £2.00 each. All proceeds will go to Corringham Church.
