Apparently, September is the new January! Which would explain why we suddenly want to start new ‘things’, hobbies, pastimes, etc, and start decluttering our lives / gardens / homes.
If you’re still looking for things to do, Tickhill Parish Room is the place for new classes and new beginnings. Their week begins with the Ukulele Class on a Monday evening. Into Tuesday with a new class – Yogalates, gentle chair exercise, then the first of the weeks Craft Classes – a perfect place to start a new hobby. Wednesdays start with Baby Bunnies, followed with the WI (first in the month), ACORD (last in the month) and the Francophiles (first in the month), then Yoga.
Thursdays bring the second Craft Class in – more opportunities to learn new skills and meet some lovely people, where the kettle will be on – and the biscuits are out! Friday mornings are back with Yoga and on the first Friday in the month Voglia d’Italia are back. Next is Saturday morning coffee – where all are welcome to chat, meet new friends and enjoy good coffee and maybe a scone / toasted teacake! On Thursday 28th November, Tickhill Parish Room will be open for the Late Shopping Night event from 5.30pm to 8.00pm, with hot drinks and mince pies and stalls selling many things – crafts, gifts, cushions, cards, bags, jewellery, calendars, Tickhill gifts, etc, some of which are bound to be Christmas related!
