Ollerton WI had a great summer. Members were busy and also met with WI members from other areas for a summer lunch at The Hostess.
Their darts team, walking group, walking netball group and the ladies who meet for lunch continue to be a success. The group have also been asked to put a Christmas tree up in St Paulinus Church again this year and plans for their panto are also in full swing.
At their August meeting, members learnt all about butter and the fats in your body and some members had their cholesterol levels tested, which turned out to be fine. Their next speaker is Mr Neil Pike from Ollerton ROB (Recycling Ollerton and Boughton), talking about recycling.
If you think you would be interested in any of the group’s activities, please go along to their meetings on the first Thursday of each month at the Jubilee Hall, Wellow Road, Ollerton. Visitors and new members are always welcome. Meetings start at 7.15pm and usually finish around 9.45pm.
