Members of Worksop Rotary Club have been working hard to support the Turkey and Syrian Earthquake Disaster Appeal over the last few weeks.
President Geoff and his wife Chris held an Open Day and Church Coffee Morning in Carlton-in-Lindrick, which together with a Rotary collection at Notcutts Garden Centre, Welbeck, raised £1,100.
The money raised will be split equally between Shelterbox, Aquabox and the Rotary Disaster Recovery Fund. Additionally, the Club sent £250 each to Shelterbox and Aquabox from its own Benevolent Fund.
On Sunday 26th February club members and guests celebrated the 95th anniversary of the founding of Rotary in Worksop with lunch at Ye Olde Bell, Barnby Moor.
