Kingston Park Academy choir will open the Christmas Tree Festival, at Carlton-in-Lindrick Methodist Church and Centre at 2.15pm, on Friday 7th December, with carols and Christmas songs. It will be open until 4.00pm. Trees will be decorated by schools, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Boys’ Brigade and other local groups in the community such as the WI and the library. The theme is doves of peace to commemorate 100 years since WWI. The Festival will be open on Saturday from 10.00am until 4.00pm with stalls, crafts and refreshments. The Highly Strung ukulele band will perform at 2.00pm. The Sunday Service is at 11.00am. The closing ceremony will be during the Monday coffee morning — from 10.00am to 12.00pm on 10th December.
Sunday Services
Carlton-in-Lindrick Methodist Church and Centre runs weekly Sunday Services at 11.00am and all are welcome.
Festive Dates
- Saturday 1st December — Christmas concert at 3.00pm by the Troubadores Gilbert and Sullivan group. This is a free event with donations welcome for church funds and refreshments will be available.
- Friday 7th to Monday 10th December — Christmas Tree Festival.
- Tuesday 11th December, 2.00pm to 4.00pm — Music from the Musicals — Nostalgia.
- Tuesday 11th December, 6.30pm to 8.00pm — Christingle with youth groups.
- Sunday 16th December, 11.00am — Own arrangement — carols.

- Tuesday 25th December, 10.00am — Christmas Day Service with Rev Alan.
