The Friends of Bassetlaw Museum have organised an interesting talk entitled ‘Talking Stock’, to be held on Wednesday 17th May at 7.30pm. The talk is to be held in the Grove Street Methodist Church Hall, Retford. There will be an admission charge of £2 for members and £4 for non-members. read more
Worksop’s Got Talent is returning for a second year, following a very successful inaugural event which took place in November 2016. After raising £6,000 for charity and selling out in front of 600 local people, the family-friendly talent show is returning on Friday 10th November at North Notts Arena. read more

A call to all golfers. On Thursday 22nd June, Retford Golf Club will be the venue for a very special Golf Day in aid of Bassetlaw Hospice. The four ball Stableford competition, which is open to both ladies and gents and teams, can be any combination (men’s handicap 28, and ladies’ 36), will be teeing off from 10.00am through to 2.00pm. read more
