At the April meeting of Wickersley Forget Me Not Friday Memory Café the group were entertained by Friends in Harmony and what a lovely afternoon they had. It’s so good to see members joining in and singing along. May was the group’s second anniversary (where did those two years go?). read more

Villages preparing for the annual invasion

Ranskill and Torworth Village and Scarecrow Festival

The villages of Ranskill and Torworth are once again preparing for the annual invasion of scarecrows. The event takes place over the weekend of 8th June in Ranskill and 9th June in Torworth, with around 100 scarecrows expected to be on display around the two villages. There is a full programme of events planned and entry is free on both days. read more

At this year’s Braithwell Church and Country Fair on Saturday 8th June, there will be something for everyone.
