Wildlife Watch, The Wildlife Trusts’ wonderful nature club for families and young wildlife enthusiasts between the ages of eight and 13 is going from strength to strength in Nottinghamshire. A new group is now based at Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust’s own Idle Valley Nature Reserve just outside Retford. read more

Retford students celebrate GCSE success

There were celebrations across Retford on GCSE results day. Jasmin Saalmann, from the Elizabethan Academy, achieved a grade 8 in both English and maths, combined with a further four A*s, one A and three Bs. Jasmin is continuing her A-Level studies at the Elizabethan, studying sociology, German and ICT at Retford Post 16. read more
