The Memorial (Village) Hall
The Hall in Elkesley is available for hire, for parties and other activities, to all individuals, groups and organisations. A bar facility is available. Tickets are now available for the evening of clairvoyance with Stephen Holbrook. Advance tickets cost £10 each. Doors open at 6.00pm for a 7.30pm start (bar will be open). A limited number of tickets are available. Call 07593 871577 to book, tickets will be available every Friday at the Memorial Hall from 7.00pm.
This month, a meeting takes place on Tuesday 25th July, when the guest will be Sheila Gravell. These meetings will take place from 7.00pm to 8.00pm and doors open from 6.30pm. A £3 admission includes light refreshments and a raffle will take place. We look forward to welcoming friends new and old to these interesting and friendly evenings.
Enjoy hot food prepared at the Memorial Hall on 5th July, we open at 12.00pm and food will be served at 12.30pm. The cost is £5 per person for a two-course hot lunch. Eventually this will be followed by activities, so bring along your ideas for mid-week fun. At this stage it is pre-booking only, please call 07593 871577 to reserve your place.
Elkesley Village FÊte ‘THE FEAST’
Join us on Saturday 15th July from around 11.30am at the village fete. A full afternoon of entertainment is guaranteed. A short parish walk kicks off the afternoon remembering the Elkesley Oddfellows. The afternoon will then be full of regular village fête stuff, shies and activity stalls, tombola and raffle stalls, cakes to buy and eat and guess the weight of. There will be dance demonstrations from the Wendy de Burnay School of Dance. An activity area for children will feature along with a children’s fancy dress competition, classes up to 12 years. A bar and BBQ will be providing refreshment, along with ice cream from Thaymar, all afternoon. Everyone is welcome, make it an afternoon to remember.
Rainbows, Brownies and Guides
Groups meet on Monday evenings at the Hall and are aimed at varying age groups: Rainbows five to seven years, Brownies seven to 10 years and Guides for over 10s. Times vary from 5.30pm through to 8.00pm, depending on the group. This is a great opportunity for young ladies to meet new friends and discover new activities. Start-Rite Canine Training classes for dogs and their owners take place on Wednesdays from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. For further information, contact Mrs Dean Johnson on 01909 591442.
‘Little Monkeys’, an Elkesley parent and toddler group (pregnancy to five years)
At the hall during school term times only, on Fridays from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, Little Monkeys stay and play will take place. Donations towards hall hire and snacks will be much appreciated. Thank you all for your support. See the hall notice boards for further details

Services are in the hall on Mondays and Fridays from 1.00pm to 4.30pm.
