Hear about a local historic figure at the next talk organised by the Friends of Gainsborough Old Hall. Leslie William John King DFC was serving as a Flying Officer, Flight Engineer with 617 Squadron, The Royal Air Force when he was killed in action on 24th June 1944. He was aged 30 and is buried in Longuenesse St Omer Souvenir Cemetery in the Pas de Calais. read more

Lincoln Choral Society will be joined by Hull Choral Union to perform Mendelssohn’s masterpiece ‘Elijah’, one of the greatest choral works of the 19th century. The choirs will be accompanied by the Lincolnshire Chamber Orchestra and be conducted by Mark Wilde, Musical Director of Lincoln Choral Society. read more
