Family Dog Show

On 6th May Bank Holiday, Indie and Co Pet Supplies and The Willows Garden in Glentham are hosting a celebration of all things related to man’s best friend, to raise money for Helping Dog Paws charity, a local charity that provides support when rehoming/fostering dogs within their care. read more

Hemswell May Day

At the centre of Hemswell Village there is a very tall wooden Maypole that has been in situ since Victorian times. By the Maypole is the Village Hall, an old school that was purchased for the residents of Hemswell and Harpswell in the 1970s. At this time the May Day village fete was re-established and once again ribbons were fixed to the Maypole for dancing. read more

The committee at Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall hope the better weather is here to stay as some activities move outside and everyone hopes they can shed a layer of clothing. Blyton Evergreens meets every other Thursday afternoon at Blyton Memorial Hall at 2.00pm. New members are welcome. For further details contact Mike Exeter on 07929 053508. On 2nd May, there will be a fish and chip lunch at the Ingram Arms in Laughton. They will be having a bingo session in the Blyton Memorial Hall on 16th May, and on 30th May Alan from the Chocolate Drop in Market Rasen will be giving a talk and taking some examples to try and buy. read more
