St Barnabas Hospice Light Up a Life

St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice

It was wonderful to see so many people come together to remember loved ones at St Barnabas Hospice’s annual Light up a Life celebration, at the United Reformed Church (URC) and taking part in their lantern walk to the Tree of Life in the Market Square.

Their sincere thanks to Reverend Poucher and all at the URC for welcoming everyone into the church for this evening, which means so very much to so many. Thanks to the Mayor of Gainsborough and Gainsborough Town Council for attending and enabling the charity to use their tree as the ‘Tree of Life’.

A reminder that St Barnabas Hospice’s weekly Coffee Mornings, take place at the Gainsborough Hospice, Front Street, Morton DN21 3AD; each Thursday, from 10.00am to 12.00pm. These are free to attend, open to everyone and are a great opportunity for you to come along and enjoy a cup of coffee and a friendly chat.

Throughout March the charity welcomes back the Barnabas Brew; where they invite members of our local communities to hold a coffee morning in support of St Barnabas. If you are interested and would like to know more visit www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk/Barnabas-Brew or contact Caroline below. They can offer you support and resources to ensure your morning is a great success!

Back for a second year is the Accumulator Challenge, which is an exciting way for local businesses to get ‘nifty with £50’. Your business will receive £50.00 credit from St Barnabas and use innovative and exciting methods to raise as much money as possible over three months. All they ask is that your business converts the £50 into at least £100! The Accumulator challenge runs from Monday 4th March to Friday 31st May.

The charity’s popular Inflatable Colour Dash will be returning to the Lincolnshire Showground on Saturday 11th May 2019; with exciting new inflatables to make the Colour Dash’s fifth consecutive year the biggest brightest and best yet. To find out more and to register online go to www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk/events/inflatable-colour-dash-19/. If you’re interested in holding a Street Food Stall at the Colour Village, contact the St Barnabas Events Team on 01522 540300 or fundraising@stbarnabashospice.co.uk.
